Beschrijving
The grasshoppers of Greece form a very diverse and interesting insect group; from tiny crickets living in ant nests, ancient looking stone hoppers and colourful bright bush-crickets Poecilimon to the giant predatory bush-crickets of the genus Saga. Altogether 378 species of grasshoppers are known from Greece, 139 of which are endemic. With this field guide the genera and species can be identified through keys, descriptions, maps, calling songs and oscillograms.
